Facility Rentals: Reserve a park pavilion or rent a parks facility or community room for your next party, event or gathering. We offer a variety of unique indoor and outdoor settings, including the West End Service Station, several locations in the Watershed Nature Center, the R.P. Lumber Center and more!

SPORTS INFORMATION

The City of Edwardsville is home to numerous sports fields and facilities, with even more in the works. Whether you enjoy baseball, softball, pickleball, sand volleyball, hockey, kickball, soccer, rugby, basketball or cornhole, we've got options for all ages! Plummer Family Park graphic button for the Parks & Recreation Department websitePlummer Family Park is located on 83 acres near Interstate 55 and Governors' Parkway. This sports complex is home to activities including soccer, baseball, softball, lacrosse, flag football, field hockey, pickleball and more. An expansion completed in spring 2025 brought sand volleyball courts, more pickleball courts, four full-size baseball diamonds and other amenities.

Lumber Center opened in 2022, providing an ice rink, walking track, fitness room, teen center and community meeting space. Beginner to advanced classes are offered for hockey and figure skating. Additional skating programs provide a safe and welcoming space for those with disabilities. The Garage offers a place for teens, while community rooms are ideal for birthday parties and events. Memberships are available.

Our beautiful parks are great places for fun times: Festivals, other public events, corporate gatherings, vendor fairs and private activities, too. (Check out our signature summer fest, the Edwardsville Route 66 Festival!)
