The R.P. Lumber Center offers options for skaters who want to expand their abilities into figure skating techniques or performances. Available options include the River's Edge Skating Club, private lessons and freestyle sessions.
Freestyle Sessions allow skaters to practice their skills, develop their routines, prepare for tests, and engage in private lessons. Freestyle sessions are different from public sessions.
Private Lessons: We have several instructors who offer private lessons to help skaters improve their skills with more individualized attention. All instructors are private contractors and work independently of the R.P. Lumber Center and the City of Edwardsville when conducting private lessons. Please contact the instructor you are interested in for availability.
