About the R.P. Lumber Center
The R.P. Lumber Center is a recreational complex located at 6289 Tiger Drive in Edwardsville, Illinois, that offers its residents and the surrounding communities a year-round option for skating, exercise and more. Offering one of the only 175-meter special surface tracks in the area, the R.P. Lumber Center features a state-of-the-art ice rink as well as a fitness room, teen center and space for community meetings, gatherings or private parties. The programs and events cater to all ages and abilities.
The facility is conveniently located adjacent to Edwardsville High School, Metro-East Lutheran High School, Illinois Route 157 and Governors' Parkway, and is accessible from the many outdoor trails in the community.

The R.P. Lumber Center came about as part of the City's A Better Place to Play park enhancement campaign, which also led to the Leon Corlew Park and Splash Pad and Plummer Family Park.
