Winter Market Festival

Saturday, December 6, 2025: Celebrate the holiday season with our annual Winter Market Festival in City Park, 101 S. Buchanan Street. Find fun, one-of-a-kind gift items, enjoy festive entertainment, visit with Santa, grab something to eat and drink and stick around for our annual tree lighting ceremony. City Park events start at noon and wrap up with the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.

Noon to 5 p.m.: Shop local artisan vendors throughout City Park. The market will showcase area artisans, baked goods, crafts (such as crochet items, woodworking, jewelry and more), locally grown items, boutique gifts and unique products.

Visits with Santa

1-4 p.m.: Santa Claus will be joining us in City Park to meet with youngIMG_4101 visitors. Santa will arrive at the park in a City of Edwardsville firetruck at 1 p.m. and remain at the park until 4 p.m.

Musical Entertainment

Noon to 5 p.m.: We will have a variety of local groups performing holiday music throughout the festival in City Park.

S'mores in the Park

4:30 p.m.: City staff will begin handing out free s'mores kits at our Santa house in the corner of the park. Kits available while supplies last. We will have fire pits and roasting sticks available leading up to our tree lighting ceremony.

5:30 p.m.: Witness City Park in all its holiday splendor with the annual tree lighting countdown and ceremony at 5:30 p.m.!

Throughout the weekend: Visit the Wildey Theatre website for more fun holiday events, including interactive "White Christmas" movie showings and the free Municipal Band holiday concert.
