Our annual Paws in the Park event offers your furry friend a fun occasion to romp, scamper and play as part of our doggy Easter egg hunt in City Park! There will be lots of treats and prizes, plus dog-oriented vendors. Profits from this event will be donated to the Metro East Humane Society!
DATE: Saturday, April 4, 2026
TIME: The egg hunt will start at noon
LOCATION: Edwardsville City Park, 101 S. Buchanan Street
COST: $8 per dog if you pre-register* or $10 per dog the day of the event
*First 50 pups registered will receive a goodie bag at registration!

Event Includes:
- Thousands of eggs full of treats or pet-friendly prizes
- Variety of doggie-oriented vendors
- Easter Bunny photo opportunities
Rules, requirements and other things to know:
- All participants are responsible for bringing a basket for the eggs.
- Dogs are not expected to pick up eggs. The rule is if your dog sniffs it out, you can pick it up!
- All dogs must remain on a leash at all times! No retractable leashes, please.
- Park will be divided into sections for small, medium and large dogs. Please remain in your respective area for the hunt.
- Please be sure to pick up after your dog. We will have doggie bags available!
- Al the end of the hunt please bring return any empty eggs to us.

We offer different ways to get involved in this paw-tastic event! You can donate a prize basket, pay for a vendor spot or both!
