Biography

Michael Fillback has enjoyed a twenty-five year policing career with the Edwardsville Police Department, providing senior management and leadership in the fields of administration, patrol, intelligence and investigations – achieving the rank of Major.  

Chief Fillback holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Specializing in Finance, from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville and a Master of Science Degree in Public Administration from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.  He is also a graduate of the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University.

Chief Fillback lives in Edwardsville with his wife Amy and their two children, Ashley and Zachary.  Fillback finds value in working with the citizens and employees of the City of Edwardsville to create a welcoming and safe community.
