Stop the Bleed is a national program that continues to empower the general public to make a difference in a life-threatening emergency by teaching them the basic techniques of bleeding control.
Since 2019, May has been designated as National Stop the Bleed Month.

The Edwardsville Fire Department partners with other area medical providers and first responders to offer Stop the Bleed classes. These one-hour classes are geared to ages 13 and up. Scheduled classes will be posted on this page as they become available.
