The Bike Rack Grant Program is a new initiative of the City of Edwardsville to encourage and facilitate secure and convenient public bike parking near businesses, recreational facilities and other community spaces. Eligible projects that are approved for a grant could receive a reimbursement of up to $925 for the purchase and installation of a bicycle rack on the property of the business or nonprofit organization.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis as received and according to funding availability and project needs. The grants will be awarded through a competitive review process administered by the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee. Applications can be printed and emailed to the City's Planning & Zoning Division or filled out and submitted online.
