The Wheels and Walk Festival will be held April 15, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with two starting locations: SIUE campus and the N.O. Nelson Complex and ending at Ironworks, which is home to Global Brew Tap House & Lounge, Chicken Salad Chick, Nautical Bowls, Brick + Bramble and Waxing the City.
Bike, skateboard, roller blade, long board or walk to enjoy live music by Matt Taul, outdoor games, and awesome food and drinks.
The first 200 participants who bring a food pantry donation item to the event will receive a $5 food voucher to be used that day. Drop-off stations for Glen-Ed Pantry and the Cougar Cupboard Food Pantry will be available at the two starting points and at Ironworks. The group with the most participant donations at the event will win a prize!

The Wheels and Walk Festival will depart from two different locations. The SIUE Technology and Management Center parking lot and the Lewis and Clark Community College N.O. Nelson Complex and proceed on the MCT trail to Ironworks where Chicken Salad Chick, Brick & Bramble, Global Brew Tap House & Lounge, Nautical Bowls and Waxing the City are located. Parking at the start of the event will be available at the SIUE Technology and Management Center and the SIUE School of Pharmacy, as well as the N.O. Nelson Complex.
